Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
The Casio Aviator stainless steel men's watch combines the timeless style of a three-hand analog with the sophisticated look of a multi-dial watch. This large round watch measures 42mm wide (1.65 inches), and it's complemented by a stainless steel bracelet band that mixes brushed and polished finishes. This highly technical timepiece includes a rotating slide rule bezel, and a chronograph that measures events down to 1 second. The black dial includes luminous hour markers, small minute indexes, and luminous-tipped gray hands (with orange seconds hand). Other features include a ±30-second accuracy per month, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.

4 out of 5 stars A very good watch.   February 21, 2010

Exactly what is expected. Not less, not more. It is cased in China, but the mechanics are from Japan. Definitely worth the money spent.

5 out of 5 stars Great Watch, Great Value   December 26, 2009
Bad Tomato (Stinky Cheese)
I've had this watch almost a year now, and I'm very satisfied with it.
The watch band was too big for my wrist, had to remove 2-3 links from the bracelet, but this was easily done simply using a push-pin very carefully. I would recommend getting the blue plastic watch band tool if you are a watch geek, or not too handy with working on small things technically.
At first I thought the tach dial would be important for calculating things while travelling/driving/flying, but never use it. I do use the timer and find the feature extremely useful. This watch is also extremely accurate.
This is a very sturdy & good looking watch. Bomb-proof. I wear it daily to work and never worry about it. The face has regrettably taken a few scratches, but still looks good enough for formal times. The watch is kind of hefty, but feels good on the wrist. I'm not a flashy guy, and this watch doesn't make me look bourgeois/yuppie.
Get this watch, it's nice.

4 out of 5 stars Great looking watch   October 3, 2009

This is a great looking watch. Only downfall is that the log scales aren't quite right for the slide rule (ex. 3.0 x 3.0 yields 8.9). But not much of a problem since most of the people interested in this watch won't be using it as a calculator.

Sturdily built watch and wrist band. Extremely accurate (compares very favorably with my Swiss made watch costing much, much more) BUT what is supposed to make this an aviator watch is the circular slide rule (used by me to compute ground speeds) and on this watch is totally useless!! One scale is is on the outside of the dial face and adjustable, as it should be, the other is under the crystal, and has no business whatsover of being there. This mis-arrangement of scales always presents a very large parallax error, making calculations absolutely totally impossible to perform. If you want to use this feature -DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH!

I bought this watch for my brother in law and he loved it.He received so many compliments after wearing this watch to the office. The slide rule bezel is really good and the chronograph feature is also very appealing.
Would recommened this watch to any one who is looking for cheap chronograph watch and at the same time looking for brand.
Must say that casio is one good brand which is in the market for definitely good reasons for so many years.
